I just called my representative, and two senators to voice my opinion on SOPA and PIPA. Take a moment to learn about the bills and call your Congressperson. We have a voice people, use it.

“Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME] from [YOUR CITY and STATE]. Can I speak with someone who works on copyright issues?

[wait to be transferred or to take a message]

Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME] from [YOUR CITY and STATE]. I’m calling to ask Representative/Senator [NAME] to vote NO on the Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect IP Act, the bills that would kill online innovation and censor the Internet. I would like to voice my firm opinion that I will not support any Congressman or Congresswoman who supports these bills.

Representative/Senator [NAME] should vote NO.”

It literally takes a few minutes. Do it!!
